Michael Handelman
President
Michael Handelman and wife Mary moved in July of 2020 to Missoula from Fredericksburg, VA to be closer to family.
He has been a member of PCA since 2009 when he was finally able to purchase his Porsche (thanks to no more tuition payments). He was a member of Potomac, The Founders Region for the last 10+ years.
He served 4 years as Potomac Treasurer and has been an active participant in events, especially enjoying DE and Drive & Dine programs.
Mike has logged more than 140 track days in his 2006 911S Cabriolet at various tracks on the east coast. His favorite track that he has driven is historic Watkins Glen in upstate NY.
He is currently retired and enjoying hiking, biking, floating, and winter activities in Montana.
Randy Cheney
Past President
Randy served as Big Sky President from 2011 to 2023
He and wife Jeanette have led numerous tours and events across the state and in conjunction with nearby Regions.
Randy recently retired after 37 years with American Airlines, Boeing 777 international Captain/
3 daughters & 5 grandkids live in FL and N. Carolina..
Randy's first Porsche was a project 911 that he sold to fund flying lessons.
After moving to Montana from Fort Lauderdale in 2000, Randy acquired and rebuilt a 1987 Turbo 911
In 2007 he gifted wife Jeanette a 1998 911 Cabriolet. In 2019, a Macan was added to the family.
He enjoys golf, bird hunting, machining and woodwork.
Trent & Becky
Neumann
Trent: Vice President
& Treasurer
Becky: Social Media
Trent and Becky Neumann have been married for almost 29 years and enjoy their four grown children, three bonus in-law children and two grandchildren.
Trent owns two businesses in the Flathead Valley and Becky is the librarian and elementary S.T.E.M. teacher at Stillwater Christian School.
Trent joined the PCA in 2021, after owning his 2006 Porsche Carrera S for a few years and thoroughly enjoys the community of Porsche lovers.
Becky loves road trips and people, so the community of the PCA has been an easy fit for her.
Trent and Becky look forward to serving the Big Sky Region of the PCA.
Jeanette Cheney
Secretary/Membership
Jeanette has served as Big Sky Newsletter, Secretary, Activities and Membership over the past 12 years.
Born near Stuttgart to a military family, she travelled the world as a child, settling in Maryland at age 10.
After college at U. MD, she lived in Florida for 21 years and moved to Montana with husband Randy in 2020.
Jeanettes has a varied career: tennis instructor, commercial appraiser, real estate broker. In 2020, she founded the Wellness Education Center.
She is a instrument and commercial rated pilot, and is a golf maniac.
Joe Grabowski
Region Activities Chair
Joe is originally from NYC, in Montana since 1991 by way of Florida and Georgia.
He is a Gator Civil Engineer who spent his career in nuclear power and healthcare engineering.
Semi-retired, Joe is doing some project management for Logan hospital in Whitefish.
Joe & wife Denise enjoy outdoor activities. Hiking, backcountry skiing and cycling. Also enjoy taking their small Airstream trailer out with their Cayman Diesel.
For enjoyment Joe drives a 718 Cayman GTS. His first Porsche was a 1960 356B Super Coupe. He's been a fan of the Marquee since the early 70's.
Drew Laskowski
Activities South (Bozeman)
Drew Laskowski lives in Bozeman, MT with his wife Devon, daughter Morgan (3 years), and English Springer Spaniel Weston.
He has been a member of PCA since 2020, when he had the opportunity to purchase a 1977 911s from his father. Devon was a bit surprised when she returned from a business trip to find it in the garage.
After unsuccessful efforts to fit a car seat in the back, he added a Cayenne in 2022.
He has enjoyed learning about Porsche vehicles from the Big Sky PCA community and looks forward to more events in the future.
When he’s not driving or working on Porsches, Drew is a competitive cyclist and Nordic skier and works as a Geology professor at Montana State University.
Dave Cooley
Driver's Ed & Safety
Dave is a long-time member of the Big Sky Region. He lives with wife,Anna, in Great Falls.
He has served in many capacities, including Membership, Region Representative.
He is a driving force (no pun intended) for the BSK Driver's Ed Program. He organizes, designs and teaches.
As a result, we are blessed with 2 events per year in Lewistown MT, that are well attended by Big Sky and neighboring regions.
In his home shop, Dave repairs and rebuilds Porsches, mainly older models.
He is limiting the projects these days, but is a great sounding board for other members.
Julia Quigley
Newsletter & Website
Julia Quigley and fiancee Thomas Petrovich are new to the Big Sky Region (transferring from Florida)
Julia has a background in marketing and website management.
As of September 2023, Julia is training with Jeanette to assume the roll of Newsletter Editor and Website manager.
Julia owns a 2016 Boxster & Thomas has a 1999 911 Carrera - another car may be added to the family soon.
